Article Marketing: A Few Tips and Strategies

If you have been around internet marketing for a while, even just getting started, you surely have heard about article marketing. Sometimes the term article marketing is not used and all that is said is submitting articles to directories. When you do you always include a link(s) in the author’s box. That little link is oftentimes the main reason for the article. Yes, the article should contain useful information too so others will want to put it on their websites. In addition you don’t want to get the reputation of putting up spam just for the sake of getting an article “up there.”

The real purpose in article marketing is not only to get a link or hopefully many links to your website where the link is pointing, but the traffic that link will bring. If you have something you are selling or promoting the traffic can be worth gold. If article marketing is not your reason for submitting the article, maybe you just want to get name exposure. If that’s the case why not combine article marketing with it and make a little money in the process?
